Toushe Reservoir, located in Toushe Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou County, is an agricultural irrigation reservoir managed by the Nantou Management Office of the Irrigation Agency. Due to the lack of a reliable water source and comprehensive irrigation system, planning for the reservoir began in 1975 to address irrigation challenges. The reservoir was constructed with a 12-meter-high, 64-meter-long homogeneous earth dam, with work starting in July 1978 and completed in December 1979. It has played a crucial role in promoting economic development in rural areas.
