Introduction
The Tucheng Workstation preserves historical artifacts, such as the "Longquan Canal Monument" from the Japanese colonial period, which marks the history of the Longquan Canal’s excavation. This site was chosen for the Environmental Education Park of Farming and Irrigation. An ecological waterwheel was installed at the canal in front of the station to enhance the landscape. Water from the Longquan Canal is also diverted into the worksite. The park features models of various irrigation facilities, including tunnels, aqueducts, sluice gates, drops, linings, and dragon-bone waterwheels. Through these displays, the park aims to preserve and pass on the culture of agricultural irrigation.
